Reviews for Bosch PS31-2A 12-Volt Max 3/8-Inch Drill/Driver (Tools & Home Improvement) This is a nice little drill/driver, however, like many differents, I found that the chuck (and chucked bit) have runout (wobble) neatly in way over what will have to be acceptable to an organization like Bosch. As someone else noted, that is marketed as a qualified tool, not a hobbyist drill or Harbor Freight cheapy, however the wobbly chuck is really unacceptable.

The thing extra that's unacceptable is that Amazon will not permit a return of a defective software for credit or exchange. Shame.

The increase in energy (which is noticeable whilst you fire it up), with the compact measurement is very very nice! (its about the size of the unique Bosch PS20-2A). I dont feel sorry about the purchase at all. Its very neatly steadinessd, the model new batteries are more powerful (even now noticeably so for my unique PS20, which is a nice plus; too unhealthy they dont have an XC battery pack just like milwaukee for the extra runtime). Here are my professionals and cons:

Pros:
--very compact 3/8" chucked drill
--good quality
--good stability and feel in hand
--very powerful
--very straightforward to use
--better battery packs
--LED gauge is great (its about time!)

Cons:
--kinda pricey
--shipped case is nonetheless now not that great (same smooth case but with a more inflexible top and backside (though the euro model is a stackable
hard case known as a L-boxx which Bosch will be promoting later in the year this september in a brand new package...Thanks for that Bosch, its not such as you couldnt do that from the start???).
--still wish the device may be extra of an all metallic construct, though it's still lovely durable as-is.

I even have some drill bits with the 1/4 in hex shank that the PS21 settle fors, but I to find there's a bit of a wobble, the bits simply are not held as smartlys as a chuck that tightens down.
